TGIF! Hope you all survived the 4th! I will have to see how many fires were started around these parts when I read the paper soon. The earthquake that hit in Kern County, CA was about 200 miles south of us. Did I feel it? Yes. Desk started moving for about 5 seconds, so I knew wherever the epi-center was it was a pretty bad one. Lots of fault lines here in California so risk for a big one is pretty big. I am not worried and like living here.
My 4th of July podcast "Jubilee Trail," kicked ass and was highly listened to through-out the US and overseas. But it's back to normal today with TGIF show and the weekend coming.
I have a new release coming out, it's Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away." I am putting the link here for you to go to it.
I would say we are at the "mid-point" of summer now. Things are tilting downhill towards school starting up again and summer winding down. And yes, that's how fast time moves. The older you get, the faster it goes.
Thanks for supporting my music. You are a big help in keeping Human Project Music out there.
Woody Guthrie. He wrote This Land is Your Land and I opened my show with my version of it yesterday. Woody represented the people that had lost it all in the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression. He was their voice, the voice of the common man. I stand with Woody.
TGIF. Let's Keep Rockin. That's what we do.
