Great response to this show! It is not featured anymore but you can access it from the link I have provided below. Detailed comments on each track. Every so often I do a Podcast of just my music. (Human's Show on Podomatic) On this particular one, I play stuff I have recorded in my home studio. It kinda has a more raw edge to it, more organic. On most tracks I play almost all the instruments. There are a few tracks that I have had AC Myles come over and add a lead track. This has worked out well, and seems to always elevate the track. Here is a track listing of this show that has just put up. ( I usually leave for 24 hours.) www.podomatic.com/podcasts/thehumanproject/episodes/2019-03-25T05_53_46-07_00 Tracks Well All Right I play everything. I use a cardboard box for a snare drum sound and soak it in reverb. I hit a tamberine with a spoon to get that cool beat. You can hear in way over on the right channel or right speaker. I added a hot strat lead and during the lead break, I put a strat rhythm guitar that is funky and gives it a cool groove. Something Big I did this song about 6 weeks ago. It's a Tom Petty track of his 1981 Hard Promises release. It's acoustic driven with a scorching lead guitar track provided by AC Myles. We got our mojo workin on this one. Not Fade Away I did this about a month ago. It's my tribute to Buddy Holly and there is a really good You Tube Video on my You Tube Page. I play everything and had AC Myles add the hot rhythm chops. Happy with the way this came out. None of these 3 tracks have been released. Blues State of Mind Recorded a couple of years ago and it made it onto my Fadin To Gray download only release. It's just a little diddy I was messin with. When AC came over, I had him toss a lead on it. I decided to release it. Bad Luck Simply an acoustic version of my song that is on "Best of the Human Project," 2010. I like it. Very sparse. For What It's Worth I have always loved this song. I feel its still relevant. I recorded it a couple of years ago. AC Myles put a killer lead on it. It's on Fadin To Gray and people are already downloading it. 57 Channels (Nothin On) From Springsteen's Human Touch Release in the early 90's. I always really like it, so I took a crack at it. I play everything. It's on Fadin To Gray. Mescaline Alley A very trippy song about a guy who had obviously indulged and ended up in an alley that lead to a hot music scene down at the end. Just walk past the dumpster, and there is a big wooden door. Enter, and the groove begins. AC steps up with the trippy reverb soaked guitar required to help create the ambiance. Fadin To Gray Title Track to my last release that was an online, download one only that came out in February. This one is about have fast time goes by and how quickly we all Fade to Gray. Absolutely smokin lead guitar work by AC Myles 6 CD's and one Download only release. One of the top selling artists in the Central Valley of California.
Blues Hall of Fame Inductee in 2010.
