Things are in a bit of a lull now. I just finished "Something Big," a track I was initially just messin around with in my home studio, but it caught fire and I ended up finishing and bringing in AC Myles to put a searing lead on it. I just play it on my shows on Podomatic, but that's it for now. It's possible I will release it as a single in late summer. I am getting ready to go on a little vacation to one of those islands out in the Pacific. It's a good place to recharge and restore. So things will go on a little hiatus here. Keep it rockin while I am gone and just know how much I appreciate all of your support.
Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes.
Most of you know I put a Tom Petty song on that last release I did called, "Let Yourself Go." It was from the Mojo release a few years back. I got to just messin with another Tom Petty song the other day called, "Something Big." It's from his record, Hard Promises released in 1981. I have always dug the track. I started with my acoustic guitar and just stayed with it. I made the decision to just let it drive the track. I added in some bass and conga's and I slipped in my strat starting on the second verse and used it for subtle driving rhythm. It's barely noticible, but listen good and it's there. I sent the track to my friend AC Myles who tossed in a searing tasty electric guitar lead. This tied the track together and boom, that was it. So here ya go. Click the link and check it out. No plans to release, this was just having fun.
Working on Something Big.

Congratulations to the New England Patriots for winning their 6th Super Bowl and number 6 for Tom Brady as well. Congratulations to the Los Angeles Rams for a great season.

Raining big time here in the Central Valley of California and the surrounding foothills and mountains of the Sierra Nevada's. A good day to chill out. Big game today, none of my teams are in it, but will be for the Rams I guess since I am a California man. I hope you enjoy the game and the day. Tomorrow, Monday..is when people call in sick from work or go in hung-over more than any other day of the year. Not me baby.
I have a nice mellow podcast up today. Great for chillin out. If you wanna go that route, just click on the menu in the top right hand corner and choose Podcast. Take ya right to it.

Appreciate all of your support.
It's early Saturday morning. Electric Coffee heavy duty style a must. I did a little secondary You Tube video for you. Highway 58 is playing in the background. My #1 download for January 2019. Just click on the link.
These are the top downloads of single tracks for January, 2019. The new release, "Fadin to Gray," has not made it into CD Baby's accounting system yet and songs from this should show up in February statistics. My 2017 release "Humanize," has the top 3 downloaded songs from it. You can go to the CD's and menu section and get that bad boy.
