With Temperatures climbing well over 105 for Saturday and Sunday, we decided to blast over to the Central Coast of California to escape the heat and bad air. We landed in Cambria. A cool little town nestled between San Luis Obispo and San Simeon, CA on Highway 1. Keep going North and you will get to Big Sur. The weather is considerably cooler, in the 70's at the most and you will see I had to wear a sweatshirt most of the time. Here is the link to a little video I made for fans like you that come to read my blog. It's only on my off the grid youtube channel. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjnHFuxYF4I&feature=youtu.be Beating the heat in Cambria, CA

I hope all is good with ya. Man, the heat is on, well into the 100's in the Central Valley of California. They are projecting a possible 110 by Sunday. Well, when it gets like that it's time to get out of Dodge and in this case that means heading over to the Central Coast. So will do that maybe Saturday. I am kind of a lull musically. I have worked on one original song I have chose to call "The Witchy Woman." I like the basic format, but I am stuck with it getting it over the top. This rarely happens, so it will either get finished or get filed in the boneyard of Human songs that didn't quite make it. Health becomes paramount when you get to a certain age. I hit the gym at least 4 times a week to pound the iron. This is around 5am in the morning. It's less crowded then. When you feel better, everything else is better. Pretty simple huh? When you make it to a certain age, celebrate being alive. Maximize it. Music is my hobby. It's not my job. I don't rely on income from music to live. I was a high school teacher for 19 years. I taught U.S. History, American Government and Economics. After this I ran my own business for 23 years. I only got back into the music around 15 years ago. I hit the ground running with 7 releases of mostly original music. I haven't made a big splash on the music scene, but I damn sho have made a splash. I have great fans. They know music and appreciate what I do. The feeling is mutual. Thanks for your support of Human Project Music.
I finally got a new YouTube finished up that has snippets of 4 unreleased tracks. Not sure what I am gonna do with these. I can just keep them filed away, or release as singles every so often. Another album? Eh not so sure. I will need more original songs for that. But I am enjoying doing rather obscure cover songs. Here is YouTube Link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oL6G66UeeSo Hot here is the Central Valley of California, just like its supposed to be this time of year. Not so sure about New York and that 107. Mercy. Thanks for all of your support. I promote myself and count on you to help me. And you do. Much appreciated. I got a 442 sittin in the sun. It's been 10 years since she used to run. Man she was a beauty back in 69. But there ain't no more comin down the line. From "Let Yourself Go." It's on my Fadin to Gray download only release.
TGIF! It's been awhile since I put up a blog. The flies by so fast. I have been working on a promo for 4 songs I have that have not been released. Something I thought that should be relatively simple just didn't pan out that way. Just some software issues, that kinda stuff. But I will get it and put the link up for you to check the songs out. I am kinda in a lull writing, but I could come out of it at anytime. That's the way it works for me. In the meantime I have done several covers. This has been enjoyable for me and I will continue to do this when the urge strikes. I like to do more obscure songs, not top 10 stuff everyone has heard millions of times. Hope all of you are good. Summer is on the downhill now. It is going by as fast a life itself does. I will be back soon with that damn promo. :) Have a Drink on Me. Keep Rockin
Hey! Hope all good. The heat is on here in the Central Valley of California. How bout a 105 today. Yeah man. Bout all you can do is ice em down and hunker down. It's not too bad very early in the morning so that's the time to get the stuff down. Chillin on the music scene right now. I want to write 2-3 new songs are record them with AC Myles. So it's all on me to get that done. But, I never do well when I feel like I have to write. It has to come to me and then it usually spills out. I also might work with David Brown my ex -student who is a good player himself on another Tom Petty Track that I will keep under wraps for now. I have been wanting to work with him more, he under estimates himself. The Podcast continues to be fun for me, (Humans' Show on Podomatic.) It is number 3 right now with an international audience. The world map I am putting up shows countries that listen. Dark Blue more listeners, light blue less. and no color, no listeners. Dark Blue = Heavy Listeners. Light Blue= Less Listeners. Yes Listeners in Russia too. Everyone have a great day and rest of the weekend. If you are in the New Orleans area, thoughts and prayers with you. Human Project Fans have unlimited pass into the Rock Zone. All Work and No Play makes Jack A Dull Boy.
I hope all is well with ya. Been crusin with the music, just been workin on my podomatic shows mostly. Will settle back in soon and get some stuff down. But it can't be forced, it has to just happen and you never know when it will. I went and saw my friend AC Myles last night at a little outdoor gig here is Fresno. He just killed it. I filmed some of it with my phone, but of course the sound quality sucks. I did make a little youtube video of it so check it out. AC is the best around these parts. No one else comes close. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnLW_jNRNvs AC Myles He plays on several cuts on Humanize, 2017 and some other singles I have released. TGIF
