Rain Rain Rain Rain. That's a song by the Sir Douglas Quintet from back in the late 60's. And that is what it is doing here.. Rain. And SNOW in the mountains and it's late MAY. Mercy.
New Human's Show up today. I put up maybe 2 new ones a week. The rest are older shows I put up.
Chillin on the music front until another idea pops into my head, which might not be long. Already kicking one around. Have a great week and thanks so much for all your support.
With John Dee's. One of the best bass players around these parts. This is from the Humanized Sessions at Pyramid Studio in Fresno, CA in April of 2017.
Rockin Day to Ya.
Thanks for all your support.
Happy Weekend! Ice em Down! We have more rain and snow in the mountains here. It feels like February, not mid-May. Hope all is good with all of you. I made a little Electric Coffee TGIF YouTube and here is the link. It has latest, "You Keep Watchin Me," playing with some pics I toss up for ya. I bought the CD "Southern Style," at the Rum Boogie Cafe in Memphis in 1997 from Omar himself. (Kent Dykes) They were playing there.
Maximus Studio. Fresno
Basic Tools for "You Keep Watchin Me."
New Electric Coffee YouTube tomorrow, Friday. Will have link here for ya.
Rollin into Thursday and the middle of May. Ya know time flies. I pretty much finished, "You Keep Watchin Me," a song by Kent Dykes of Omar & the Howlers. I played all the instruments on this one, even lead guitar. I will let it simmer awhile and I can always get a lead put on, but despite my lack of prowess playing lead guitar, what I have done has a certain amount of style and feel to it. I will also play it from time to time on Human's Show on Podomatic. If you want to listen, it's at the bottom of this blog.
Hope your week has started off good for ya. You know The Human appreciates ya.
I used all these on You Keep Watchin Me. I also used an Harmonica and shakers. And of course I used that box on the low right for a snare and I got the best sound yet from doin that. Ya know they did that a lot in some studio's in the late 50's on Rockabilly stuff.
Hit the play arrow.
Give it some time to catch it's groove.
Wishing all the Mom's a Happy Mother's Day. I hope it is a great day for all of you. It's a nice day to chill out, recharge, enjoy family friends, or even just some good alone time.
I am still working on that Omar song, "You Keep Watchin Me." Usually they come together quicker than this one is, but I will give it a couple more shots.
Thank you so much to all Human Project fans out there for all your support.
Wishing you a great day.
Hope your Saturday and the rest of the weekend goes good for you. It's going to be 85 here today in the Central Valley of California. I was messin around with an Omar & the Howlers song yesterday. It's from the 1995 Southern Style release and it's called, "You Keep Watchin Me." It's a jammin little tune, so I might get back to it today sometime. Quite a few of you had some Electric Coffee yesterday at the YouTube link I provided. Very cool! See ya again there soon.
Set-up for working on track yesterday. You can see that cardboard box behind the bass guitar. That's my snare drum. Soak it in Reverb and all good man.
Thanks for all your support.
Wishing you all a great TGIF and awesome weekend. A little video for you to kick start your day. Appreciate ya a lot.
Thanks for all your support and interest and for buying Human Project Music World-wide.
